Doors & Hardware
These mechanical components are found in virtually every office building.
- Doors and locks
- Hinges and Closers
- Thresholds and strike plates
- Master keys and deadbolts
- Exit devices and ADA leversets
New building codes in California require that fire doors and locking hardware undergo an annual test/inspection to assure proper operation (see below). CCS is providing this important service to properties in San Diego.
“All fire rated doors in all areas and stairwells, including metal overhead rollup doors in trash areas, that are located throughout structure in both commercial and residential areas shall be inspected annually and serviced as needed. Part of required service includes ensuring self-closing devices and door hardware on fire doors operate properly and allows fire doors to close and latch. All panic hardware on exit doors and exit gates shall be inspected annually to verify proper operation of releasing hardware.”
Properly functioning doors and locking hardware are as critical as a valid alarm code or surveillance camera. CCS is one of the few security integrators in the country that offers a fully staffed lock and door-hardware division to service your facility’s mechanical needs.
We can design a new master key system and re-key your facility with “restricted keys” as easily as we can install a new surveillance camera system.
Please call us if you need a door repaired or replaced, or if you are not sure whether your building is ADA compliant. Our friendly staff will help explain your options when it comes to mechanical locking solutions, and don’t worry, we know you are not a locksmith! But we are!
